A couple of weeks ago I posted about my pet Indy, highlighting a dog is a man’s best friend. I actually have two rat terriers. There is Indy and Bella who are siblings. I do not often get a chance to snap a photo of the two of them together. In fact, Bella is very camera-shy while Indy is a ham in front of the camera.

I was taking some product shots of some merchandise for a client’s on-line store when I noticed my two pets all cuddled together on the sofa enjoying the warm rays of the sun. Yes I had work to do but I could not help but take a time out to photograph my two best friends. One of the biggest challenges in photography is being in the right place at the right time so it was well worth the break. The merchandise weren’t going anywhere, but Bella and Indy only stood still for a couple of frames.

Try and take your camera with you everywhere you go.  You never know what photographic opportunities await.  Worse case you learn more about how to use it.
