From July 30 to August 1, 2010, I am offering complimentary mini-portrait sessions in my gallery. It’s called the Keep It Short and Simple Image Project because each session will: (1) be less than 30 minutes, (2) be against a simple neutral background; (3) one light; and (4) utilize no more than one chair or box for a prop.
Bring yourself, bring your best, be yourself and prepare to let go, relax, let the kids be kids, and together we will capture a unique moment in time. Yes, you are welcome to bring your pet or something uniquely important to you as well.
If you are interested, please call Alex at 570-832-2175 to schedule an appointment. Please tell your friends and family.
As a bonus, 7th Street Coffee next door will be hosting it’s annual Javapalooza Music Festival so bring the entire family and enjoy everything the historic town of Milford and Pike County has to offer.
A magazine asked me to take portraits of golf pros at various country clubs around Northeast Pennsylvania so I jumped in my car and drove all over the Poconos where I discovered some wonderful and quaint little towns, wonderful golf courses and even greater people.
I was enjoying a peach smoothie at 7th Street Coffee0 on June 3, 2010 when Joelee Motichke entered to order something to drink and leave some marketing brochures about her event rental business. I’m not entirely sure what made me ask her to pose for me but she agreed to do so.
I had to hurry and reassemble my gear, which was all packed away from an on location shoot. I only took a couple of frames with a single light on camera left. The photos were run through a Low Key filter with Imagenomic’s Portraiture Plug-In for Photoshop. The B&W conversion was done with Nik’s SilverFX.
